Geological Treasures of Ibaraki

When: October 12 2013 – January 19 2014 9:30am – 5pm*

Where: Ibaraki Nature Museum (Bando City, Osaki 700)

Admission: Adult: 720 yen

High School/university student: 440 yen

Elementary/middle school student: 140 yen

Pre-school aged children, over 70s and those with a disability handbook: free

Free on November 13. Middle school and below free on Saturdays excluding winter school holidays.

*Closed on Mondays, and from December 28 to January 1. On October 12, the exhibition will open at 1pm. On Monday October 14, November 4, December 23, January 13, the exhibition will be open, and the following Tueday it will be closed.

Explore over 500 million years of history through the earth in Ibaraki, which is home to some of the oldest geological formations in Japan.
